Job Title: Senior Scrum Master - Project Manager

Location: Hybrid (Dallas, TX)

POSITION TYPE: Contract (6 months)

OVERVIEW:The Senior Scrum Master / Project Manager will be responsible for leading Agile delivery and overseeing project execution across multiple IT initiatives. This role blends Scrum leadership with traditional project management responsibilities, ensuring teams are aligned, timelines are met, and deliverables meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement in both Agile and hybrid project environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Lead end-to-end project management efforts including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of IT projects.

• Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement and team accountability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

• Track project progress, manage risks, and provide regular status updates to leadership.

• Support backlog management, sprint prioritization, and roadmap planning.

• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices while integrating traditional project management methodologies as needed.

• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Drive communication across cross-functional teams to ensure transparency and efficiency.

• Utilize project management and Agile tools to track performance metrics and team productivity.

• Mentor and coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide clear documentation of project deliverables and milestones.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business, or related field.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.

• PMP certification preferred or equivalent experience in project management.

• 7+ years of experience in project management and/or Scrum Master roles within IT environments.

• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid project methodologies.

• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project).

• Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
